Ministries
Worship Team
"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." ~ Psalm 138:2
At Cornerstone we have a dedicated team of staff ministry volunteers who lead worship services week in the Sunday morning services.
We sing the old hymns in each service. We also sing a wide range of contemporary music. Our music ministry can be summed up with this phrase: "others may have more talent, but he have all the heart!" Music is a personal expression of worship to a Holy God. The fact is that each song we sing is very real to the one delivering it. Each week, our corporate worship is aimed at pleasing God and uplifting the Lord Jesus Christ as we make a joyful noise and worship Him.

Soloist and Special Music
"Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord..."
~ Ephesians 5:19
Each Sunday there is special music that we sing just before the preaching to prepare our hearts to receive the message God placed on the preachers heart to share with the congregation.

Our Pianist
"Praise him with the timbral and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs." ~ Psalm 15:4

Nursery Ministry
"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." ~ Psalm 127:3
At Cornerstone we have a dedicated team of staff members that have been trained to take care of the needs of your most precious little ones.
We offer loving and safe nurseries during each service with multiple volunteers to meet the demands of a safe and playful atmosphere.
We hope you enjoy our brand new, fully expanded, and remodeled nursery during one of our four services each week. Please feel free to seek out an usher or one of our pastors to be guided to the nursery.

Children & Teen Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
~ Matt 19:14
Sunday School
We have classes for kids of all ages. Before classes begin, we will help children find the right class for their age.
Junior Church
After the songs and the offering in the main auditorium, the kids are dismissed to the Junior Church class. They will sing more songs, and hear an exciting and immersive Bible lesson.
Cornerstone Kids
Each Wednesday, the kids will sing songs, recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States, the pledge to the Christian flag, and the pledge to the Bible. Then, there is a Bible lesson followed by a snack and a game.
Teen Ministry
Our teens enjoy relevant Bible studies, games, snacks, activities, conferences, trips, and camps. Call or text Pastor Neil for more info 928.530.0084!
Adult Ministry
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt. 18:20
Our adult ministry centers on gathering as a community around the Word of God and living lives modeled after Christ. The goal of all adult ministries at Cornerstone is to help challenge participants to live out their faith while impacting others with the power and truth of the Gospel!
Check out the church calendar for up coming events.

Ladies' Ministry

"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."
~ Proverbs 31:25
The ladies of CBC gather a few times a year for a potluck style meal, games, and a challenge through God's Word. This is sometimes done in conjunction with the men.
The ladies are also able to enjoy a trip to a conference out of state where they can grow together and have extra fellowship. Some of the ladies also participate in a secret sister gift exchange where they can pray for and often times bless a sister anonymously.
Food Bank Ministry and Services
"That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;" ~ 1 Tim 6:18
Hours and Operations:
The Food Bank is open every Friday and closed on holidays. There is no ID needed to get the food. There are people who line up early to stay to be the first to sign in. It is therefore encouraged, that you arrive well before 10:00 am and wait. There is no space holding. Once the doors open, sign in with your name, and wait to be called.
The hours of operation are 10am until noon for anyone. The food bank is also open after the church services for all members and guests who attend the Sunday 11am and 4:30pm service times of Cornerstone Baptist Church. It is also opened following the mid-week service that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday. It is our desire to encourage people who wish to use the food bank other than Friday, to attending the church service. The Bible teaches that the Word of God is spiritual nourishment for one's soul. Job 23:12 tells us "I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Finally, the Apostle Paul likened the words of faith as nourishment for good doctrine in First Timothy 4:6. If you do not attend a service, you will not be turned away, but dismissal times vary! Check the service time's here: Location & Service Times.
If you're visiting for the first time, the food bank is located in the middle building on the property. There is no charge for anything.

Transportation:
If you would like a ride to a church service, please call or email the church office with your request. The phone number is 928.530.0084 and the church email is churchoffice@cbckingman.org. Someone will contact you and you provide you with the details of how we are able to pick you up.
Food Delivery:
Cornerstone Baptist Church Food Bank is not able to deliver food into the community at this time.
Requests for Money:
Money is never given out at the food bank. Cornerstone Baptist Church has a process set in place that we carefully follow. If you require monetary assistance you will need to come to a church service and present your need to a designated leader at the end of the service. Our leadership team will pray for you and carefully consider the information provided to us. We do not immediately grant any requests, and there is no promise that a request will be granted. Please email the church office if you need assistance and someone will follow up with you and provide you with more information.
Counseling Policy:
Many people have expressed interest in receiving one-on-one counseling. As a church, we desire to provide biblical counsel freely and lovingly whenever possible. However, because the most consistent and effective source of spiritual growth is participation in the life of the local church, regular counseling will be offered to those who are faithfully attending church services. Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds believers of the importance of gathering together, and it is often through the preaching, teaching, fellowship, and encouragement of the church that God provides the guidance people need. Individual counseling should be viewed as a supplement to, not a substitute for, regular involvement in church services.
RV Parking on Church Property:
Several individuals have inquired about overnight RV parking on church property. After careful consideration, church leadership has determined that overnight parking will be limited to visiting pastors, missionaries, and evangelists who are participating in scheduled church ministries or services. Any stay on church premises should not extend beyond the duration reasonably necessary for those ministry responsibilities.
Church Food Bank Operations:
The church food bank is a ministry that depends upon designated leadership and volunteers to operate effectively and safely. Therefore, if no approved leader is present to oversee a scheduled food distribution, the food bank will remain closed for that day. Information regarding the next distribution date and time will be communicated through the church’s social media channels and other available means of communication.
